A Low-Key Scottish/Korean Ceremony in Dundee
George and Eunkyung opted for a low-key registry wedding to tie the knot, at the Hollins Suite in Dundee City Center. They booked my Ceremony Only photography package, which gave them 2 hours of coverage - enough to cover their ceremony, family photographs & couple's portraits.
George was suited and booted in the traditional Scottish kilt, and Eunkyung sported a beautiful gown and did her own hair and makeup (beautifully I might add!). Surrounded by their closest friends & family, they both read personalised vows which had everyone feeling very emotional. George even did half of his vows in Korean - which was extremely impressive!
After the cermeony, we headed to Slessor Gardens for formal family portaits. This area is perfect for post-registry weddings, as it is a bright and open greenspace. Once the formal family shots were done, me and the couple headed down to the V&A down at the waterfront for the couple's portraits. This is a great spot for photographs, with the historic RSS Discovery & Discovery Point sitting against the backdrop of the beautiful River Tay, it truly is a beautiful scene.
The couple were even offered free donuts from the foodvan down at the V&A - these went down a treat! After we finished the couple's portrait session, the couple headed up to The Downfield (formerly Doc Stewarts). for their reception and a good feed with friends and family.
Overall it was a relaxing, chilled day done exactly how this couple wanted - minimal stress, and a focus on their love for each other. Thankyou both for trusting me with your special day, and I wish you all the best in your future together.
