Coming up the Dundee for the 'legal bit' with their best friends!
Sask got in touch with me to ask me to capture they and Kyle's legal wedding ceremony after seeing my videos on Tiktok. They were travelling up from Manchester to Dundee to make things official before heading home for their big celebration with friends and family. They wanted something a little more intimate for the legal part of their wedding - this suited them perfectly.
Both were effortlessly cool, slightly alternative and completely themselves. They were joined by two close friends for the day, and after a few happy tears during the ceremony, they headed out into Dundee for some portraits.
We made our way to Broughty Ferry beach, where we spent some time taking photos together and soaking up the slightly windswept Scottish scenery, before heading to Barnhill Rock Garden for a change of backdrop. There was no pressure for everything to feel overly posed or traditional, just the four of us wandering around, taking photos, having a laugh and capturing them exactly as they were.
And, of course, there was plenty of Benriach whisky involved along the way. Because what else would you expect from a very cool couple getting legally married in Dundee?
It was such a lovely reminder that weddings really don't have to look a certain way. Whether you're planning a huge celebration with hundreds of guests or travelling to a registry office with your favourite people and a bottle of whisky, the important bit is that it feels like you.
This one definitely did.
