Capturing the rebirth of a brand through my lens..
Recently I had the pleasure of working with Lochside Creative, a social media management company run by Molly and Owen, a couple with a clear vision and a real creative spark. They’ve recently relocated to Scotland from England and made the journey from Glasgow to Dundee for their brand relaunch shoot with myself.
We spent the day shooting at Castle Content Studio in the city center of Dundee - a bright, minimal space that was perfect for the kind of clean, modern visuals Molly and Owen wanted for their new branding. The studio gave us plenty of variety to play with, from light, neutral corners to the more textured backdrops built into the space that suited their aesthetic perfectly.
Most of our session took place indoors, focusing on natural interaction, workspace setups, and lifestyle-driven shots that show the people behind the brand. We incorporated some outfit changes to showcase the different aspects of the couple's identities, from LinkedIn style professional, to the more comfortable loungewear the couple would wear if they were working from home. This meant we were able to capture the couple's true personalities, and not just the corporate ones. Later, we stepped outside for a quick refresh and a few relaxed portraits in the soft afternoon light - a nice contrast to the studio setting and a good reminder of the balance Lochside Creative brings to their work.
It was great to work with two people so in tune with their business identity and to help them capture that through imagery.
